i'm trying to figure out the best setup for a trapper, gear and skill wise (either fire or light). i absolutely MUST have 9 frame trapping and 10 frame casting (102 fcr). here's my setup at the moment:

2/20/30 trap circlet (yes i have this Very Happy

)
+2 traps/life/mana/res amu (yes i have this)
spirit ls
rhyme grim
mages
2x sojs
string of ears
colonels' sanders riprap (personalized boots Very Happy

)

problem is, according to my calculations i can't hit fastest trapping unless i have lvl 16 bos, which isn't happening. So I've got a few options. i can lose the ears and use goldwrap, or i can lose the mages and use bfists. besides that i can't think of a lot of other options Sad

. does anyone know of a better setup? i'm sure i saw a trapper with ears before...maybe it wasn't 102 fcr?

any help here? do i have to lose the dr% and mdr?

why MUST you hit those bps?

if you've never raped someone w/ stunlock you probably don't understand how huge a difference a frame can make. it can easily be the difference between stunlock that's hard to get out of and stunlock that's impossible to get out of. the character should rarely get hit anyway, it'll be ungodly fast, desynching, and ranged. but ofc i'd prefer to have a nicer belt than goldwrap if it's possible Sad

get an amulet with 10fcr (even if its only 2/10/life its still better then your one if you REALLY have to hit the bp) and use a 10fcr belt

string of ears isnt really needed esp since you will be stunlocking the crap out of people

that way you can switch out mages for bloodfist if that will help you mak the ias bp

I had #1 trapper on ladder last season
i went for 42 fcr bp and w/e ias bp you get with blood fists
my trappers set up is in this topic just the items

she ahd 42 life regen wich made the differance in countless duels and only charger could get out of my lock with the bps i had worked fine

well i've already got my trap circlet so i'm not planning on using regen, basically regen is only worth it if you have a lot, and since i have none whatsoever on my current build I think i'd prefer to just leave it alone. anyway with my bps i think that most duels will end with me mbing them into a wall and WoFing until they die. regen is nice expecially in slower duels, but imo it's worthless when dueling many melee opponents, I'd rather be able to throw them backwards faster. btw note that I'm not doing LLD101 rules (casters only fight casters etc) because i think they're lame. so thx for the advice, but i really only want to make a trapper that hits those fcr and ias bps.
