The Fire Ball Sorceress Guide

I have been tuning the fire ball sorceress for over a year, and I have came to the conclusion that for most duels vitality build is better for the fireballer. Vita(vitality) is also a cheaper and more effective build. Over the course of this guide I will be explaining proper skill and stat placements, gear selection, dueling strategies, and final stats.

Skills

The fire sorceress will be g-rushed giving her 41 skills at the level 30.
The best skill placement would be 18 in fire bolt, 1 in warmth, 19 in fire ball, 1 in fire mastery, 1 in telekinesis, and 1 in teleport.
It should look like this:


Stats

Stats can very upon the gear and jewel selection that you use. I am currently in the process of remaking my Fireball sorceress with a 9dex/-15req jeweled Whistan's Shield. If you use a visceratuant you will need 90 Dex for max block (unless you use an eld). You will need 45 strength for Spirit CS. The rest will be all thrown into Vitality giving not a single stat to Energy.

Gear Selection

The fireball sorceress can use a different variety of gear. My current fire ball sorceress uses a 2 fire 20 fcr 50 life circlet (She has a 2 fire 20 fcr 20 frw 11 res circ in stash), both of these are socketed with a Perfect Ruby, each granted 38 life. My amulet is currently a 2 Fire 35 life 24 mana light res amulet for Melee classes, and a 2 fire 16 life 12 mana 14 res Amulet for casters. (Both are still crappy and I need some new amulets.. can't seem to find any, though).
I use a 35/13 Viper Magi armor socketed with a Perfect Ruby. My current build has 2 Shields, 1 is a Shael'd viscertuant (hits 50 FBR bp) for melee, and the other is a Pdiamond Viscerauant for casters. My sorceress uses a 35 FCR spirit to hit the 105% FCR Bp. The gloves are magefists, the belt is either a SoE (String of Ears) for melee or a 24%FHR 49 life 20 mana belt for casters. I currently use Sander's riprap for my boots but upon remake I'll be using Cow King's for the extra 5 stats and defense. My rings are 2x legit sojs, on switch I use an Insight. (I have a staff in stash for Shiver/Chilling armor).
Charms: I use an assortment of Life/mana small charms. My best being 15life/12 mana (2x 12mana/5fhr scs) and my worse being 15life/2 mana Sc.

Alternate gear:

Peasant crown (p ruby) / Vipermagi (pruby) / Eye of the etlich / Spirit sword / Sigon shield / whistan's / visc / Cow king's or Sander's / 2x fcr rings / magefists/ life/mana gcs and scs (low for this budget setup)[/color]

Strategies

The fire ball sorceress is a very versatile character, but if you do not know how to use her she will fail, for the most part.

Paladins:*hammer*Constantly move and teleport to avoid being desynched upon, try reading his desynch and throw fireballs towards where you think he will be, once he is out of desynch of you feel you can hit him, name lock him and chuck a few, then teleport some more. *zealers*Against melee I feel it is bad mannered (BM) to teleport, so I generally just put on my blocking gear and tank and fireball him. (Easy, for the most part.) *Smiters* Don't let them lock you, run backwards and turn around to fireball, then continue to run, rinse and repeat. *Chargers* Since chargers are ranged duelists it is okay to teleport when dueling them. That being said, do not let them get the full charge on you, when the charge away and turn around to come back, teleport on them so they normal hit you, not charge. (Again, we will be using block gear for 1.3kdefense.) Once you jump on them, just start blasting away.

Sorceress:*Fireballists*You need fast hands and accurate aim to compete with other fireballers, throw on 86 FHR and play your best. *Lightning* Same goes for lightning, except try jumping on them and stunning. *Cold*Use a Visceratuant with a P Saphire and always keep your distance vs cold.

Barb:*Concetrate* Just walk/run and shoot them down.*whirlwind* If you feel you can tank a godly whirlwind barb you can try, but try avoiding ww when dueling them.

Assassins:*Trap* Keep your distance, try scouting them out. *kick*Just tank kicksins until they die.

Druid:*wind* If a druid recasts his cyclone armor it is okay for you teleport, if not, just use some good maneuvering skills to avoid nado and hurricane and get fbs in there.*Fire*Teleport on them for the most affective play.

necromancer: Teleport around them and occasionally spit some fire balls at them, most part is avoid being hit, and still doing damage.

Amazon:*Bow* Just teleport with block and chilling armor, pretty easy duel.*jav* You can generally face to face out tank a jav, put her in dodge lock and fhr stun and duel's yours.

Final Stats
My signature is a representation of the final stats your sorceress should have.
1k+ life
1k+ defense
600+ mana
2.9k+ Fire ball.
75% block
75 All res

That was also w/o ES, I have Pretty high mana / es now. 1120 atm Wink

on a more serious note, i thought your actual sorc doesnt have a point in warmth, hense 3041 dmg instead of 2925 or whatever

this would be good for this kind of build right or is it missing something?

It's a regeneration, whether you constantly teleport or are sitting and watching your mana grow. It basically adds to your mana pool, and only shorts you 100~ dmg.

Wrong. Actually, you need 43 str for Spirit CS, and 45 str for Magefist Wink. I'm making this sorc now.

The question is +1 to FBall or Warmith

With 1 FBall you will have 100 damage more and only 25% regen mana from magefist.

With 1 Warmith you will have 100 damage less and 187% regenerate mana Smile

place 1 pnt into warmth.

u will already have 2k+ fire dmg. another 100 is not helping
if u want to max FB dmg then u need an orb with +5fb and +5firemastery.

but dont short your regen from ~19mana /sec down to ~7mana /sec by ignoring that 1 small pnt in warmth

+9 To Minimum Damage
180-250% Bonus to Attack Rating (varies)
Adds 5-30 Fire Damage
+75 Poison Damage Over 5 Seconds
+1-6 To Critical Strike (varies)
+5 To All Attributes
+2 To Mana After Each Kill
23% Better Chance of Getting Magic Items

It's for the quick mana regen in the middle of duels...Smile
