You said in your guide rubies and sapphires were considerable. They are not at all.

If you look at the technical details on the efficiency of each and compare them, skulls win--due to the mana replenish that is unattainable any other way.

if you do all skulls, you have little mana to replenish to begin with. mana replenish is based on percent, so if you only have 100 mana or something, it wont replenish very fast at all. Having high amounts of mana + mana replenish is best. You might want to balance skulls n saphs though

How is potting a battle tactic? Other low lvl chars have to sacrifice gear and charms to have a sustainable amount of mana.

I'm not sure about your comment, but I do agree with you that this is not considered a "Battle Tactic". Most low level duelers that I have dueled and won against, "drops" many mana potions when they lose. You should also see how many mana potions low level duelers "drop" when they lose. My bad if I'm wrong, but I think I'm right.

Though I certainly can't speak for him, I believe what Visual Tactics is trying to say is that using mana potions (something that is currently banned by LLD101 ruleset) shows a deficiency in a build. Someone reading the guide may misunderstand and consider it a legitimate tactic to use mana potions, which it certainly isn't in LLD101 GM duels. Then again, no one can control what goes on in public games.

One last thing, it'd probably be best if you actually make a level 12 Fissure Druid and revise your guide based upon your own personal experiences using the build. It's nice to debate a build, but until you actually experience the nuances of it firsthand, it's little better than theorycrafting.

Yup, I mana pot on my 15 vs pubs, but If I am really dueling a lld I made a point in making my armor/shield with mana and dtm so I don't need to pot just to be able to land a hit.

You are wrong. You will have 200+ mana from charms with a decent setup.

If you are able to hit 300 without using sapphires, then your mana replenish will be up to par, with about 3 mana per second.

5 seconds to have enough to fissure.

that means you can get.. 20 fissures in a 0 second duel, theoretically.

30 in a 50 second duel.

56 fissures in a 3 minute duel.

Without skulls, you lose 10 fissures in each 50 second duel you have. Not to mention replenish life.

In a thread, I saw that there were 1 to Druid skills clubs or Wirt's legs (I never knew that). If I chose that weapon, this guide would change a bit.
