I made a smiter also, its my favorite build so I spent alot of time figuring out the most effective smiter for the lowest cost. The only reason waramps beat mine was because I didnt have any charms at hand (was new to west) anyways here is what you want.

Body: Vmagi, or if your not using a rhyme shield then you want spirit shroud (Cannot be frozen mod needed)

Weapon: 6x shealed military pick (not a crystal sword, dont just make due with one, it needs to be a military pick)

Helm: Peasent crown or if you have a little more cash on hand then spend some time finding a +2 pcomb circlet

Boots: Goblin toe

Gloves: Bloodfists

Shield: Rhyme barb shield or spirit arkain rondache (remember you will need to use spirit shroud for armor with this choice)

Ammy/Rings: Sojs and +2 pcomb ammy

Skills:

Max smite
7 points into Holy shield
Rest into Concentration and pre reqs. The only time you want fant is if you have a 2 pcomb/+3 fant scepeter/30 ias/2 socket war scepter (good luck getting that)

Anyways Its very obvious that your brand new to LLD so I suggest you follow the advice of these guys.

Rhamax youres is the closest to being perfect for me to use, seeing as i built the stats exactly that way and can use that stuff. until i find a 6socket military pick i will settle with the crystal sword though Razz

. as for spirit shroud and the cannot be frozen, what about deaths sash? although it would be a bad replacement for my soe.

current gear is:

body:vmagi
belt:soe
wep:6shael crystal sword
shield:spirit akaran targe
helm:peasant crown
boots:goblin toes
gloves:bloodfists
rings/ammy:2xmanald/eye of etlich

you're not hitting the last ias bp until you get a military pick. so yes it'll do, but try to upgrade that asap. also i would definately recommend using a different shield. up'd swordback, rhyme barbed, rare/magic barbed with deflect, fhr, pcombat skills, or akaran rondache (not targe), but i would go with one of the 3 barbed shield options first personally.

6 shaeled military pick now. getting 6 fpa at 450 dmg. 25x 15 lifers. 2x 12 fhr gcs. prebuff 2 spirits. 2x sojs now. spirit shroud armor.[/img]

You could swap your armour for Twitchthroe, for fhr smiters need alot. You need uped bloodfists, maybe goblin toe and Bladebuckle. I Wil post my smiter soon.

u dont want spirits.
your gears wrong. specialy armor and helm. u want pally circlet or 2 soc skull helm with percent ias by level. and u leveled badly, u shuda spent in fant and rest in smite and smites helpers, fant u want for speed of smite. sheild should probaly be peace or 4 soc armor with some ias jewels

sojs poofed* back to 2x manalds sadly. currently lookin for a 4os and a 2os akaran rondache (both high res) using upped gtoes, upped bloodfists, now have max block, once i make rhyme/new spirit will update with the final build.[/img]

still i belive if your going to build a smite pally u dont do conc, u need fant, fant = ias
