Wat do u guys use for your hybrid kick/trapper

Subject description: thinking of making one
 

thinking of making a hybrid kicker/trapper but wats your lite dmg/and kick dmg and gear and such i waz thinking
war boots
vmagi
2x sojs
magefists
weapon??
belt 10fcr belt or SoE (im thinking soe for the main part)
i guess a 2trap/20fcr circ
2/10 trap ammy
wat about charms dmg/ar/life charms or wat ?
ive been thinking of this char for awhile and ive had a few options for weps

spirit sword/low str honor (has rep life too)/sanders wand.

spirit has those elemental dmg on it so im kinda not liking that route same /w sanders wand... does it have enough psn dmg to be benificial and honor does that add any dmg to kick wat so ever (besides the +9 max and min dmg) and uh yea wat u guys think...?

dmg/ar/life charms doesnt add to kick dmg.. u better off using life/manas, life/resists or life/ars but clean 15lifers will do.
u prolly wanna go for dual claws which would mean u have 1 handscythe with +Ls and mayb other skills like df/mb
and other 1 is +ls handscythe with strength rw init..
magefists give firedmg dont they so that fucks up ure kick dmg.
also sojs give light dmg so that fucks up ure kick dmg even more.
i wouldnt use mages isntead u might wanna use bloodfists..

at 30lvl max/ar/lifes can have more ar than ar/lifes scs I think. So 1/xx/15 scs would be fine if u want to boost your ar.
Like wOOite said sojs and mages/frosties ruin the kick dmg so u should either use bloodies and rare rings or just use kicks to trigger cb and ow and keep the sojs+mages.

agreed with matro, one element is enough, or md will screw you over hardcore. i'm using bloodfists on my hybrid. and spirit sucks for hybrid unless you've got it on swap just for MB and stuff. charms wise, use life/res, mana/fhr, life/mana, and life/max charms (yes, they can get up to 20 instead of 12 AR). Beyond that you'll have to figure it out on your own, i don't feel like completely revealing my build until I'm finished with it. The hybrid can be an incredibly hard build to make, so gl with it.

as any asn finding the proper claws can b pain in the ass.. so u might as well use +2 trap bladetalon and strenght bladetalon until u find handstyche with +3 ls to repla that trap blade talon and eventually find +3 ls white handscythe for strength rw.

i have a few xtra +3 LS handscythes if you need 'em. none white for strength runeword tho, they're all gambled.

alright, I just got the final important piece of my hybrid, so I'm going to impart you with my wisdom.

first off, DON'T try to get +LS and +kicks on the same claw. the way to successfully abuse kicks and traps is to have a different setup for each side. on one side have 2x trap claws (+2 traps for noobs, +3 LS for decent, +2 traps +3LS for godly) and on the other have a strength runeword and a shield. place traps, switch, and kill. here is my (admittedly very difficult to find) setup.

helm: 2 traps/20fcr/30frw/23 cres/shael circ
ammy: 2 traps/41life/63 mana/6 allres/2dex/2mdr ammy
armor: p vipermagi (shael)
belt: 15/15/8/170 string of ears
rings: SoJs
boots: 30frw/10fhr/26 lres/34fres war boots
gloves: upped bloodfists
Primary: +1MB +3Dflight strength handscythe
shield: 9%ed rhyme grim shield
secondary: 2x +3 LS claws, one w/ +3 shadow master as well.

in stash: +2 traps claw, +1 blade shield claw (prebuff blade shield)
+2 shadow claw, helm, and ammy, +2 venom handscythe, +1 BoS handscythe (prebuff BoS and venom)
+claw block handscythe w/ 2x 15 allres jewels (for vs hard casters instead of rhyme)
death sash (for vs blizz sorcs and windys to avoid chill due to loss of rhyme)

skills: 9 dtalon
1 FB
20 shock web
3 CBS
7 lightning sentry
1 death sentry

113 str
85 dex
a few stats left over that idk what to do with

if this is your first LLDer, either make a version without some of the VERY hard to get gear (such as the main handscythe, that took a month and 20 hrs, and the 2/20/30 circlet, about a week and 20 hrs) or make a different character. this one requires and enormous comittment to gear if you want it to be uber.

no this isnt my first llder ive had my baba WHlRLWlND for quite a bit... but when i used to play hld i used a ghost sin ww/ls and i liked it so i wanted to do sumthing the same in lld that would be fun... yea i kno how hard those claws can be never thought of making a strength runeword into a claw i do like that idea though but yea im really fearing that circ,ammy,and claws boots semi worried about worse comes to worse ill just use a 40frw war boot but hopefully ill have a better pair by the time i get basic gear up but yea.... work in progress atm :\
