I hate high school.
Well, mine.
We're forced to take English every year, and we don't do biology until sophomore year...
The school's critical about electives; some people I know almost didn't graduate because they didn't have enough electives...
And I have my chemistry teacher. He doesn't teach.

how could you not have enough electives? electives are what make high school worth going to. its what lets you make it more interesting and actually get some courses in thatll help to further your career (if you have one already chosen out in high school).
for my grade 12 year, i chose digital animation12b, digital animation12c, art 11, wood works12a, wood works 12b, math 11, english 12, technology 11.
(had to take alot of grade 11 courses because i hadnt taken those electives in my grade 11 year).
it was mostly just a relaxing year. alot of skipping class, or slacking off. i still managed to pull off A's and graduate with honors however. which shocked my socks off. i was totally surprised when i got my diploma and it said "with honors" on it. just goes to show you what a year of incredibly easy courses can do for you. GPA to the roof.

I'm taking academics in place of electives.
The only "elective" course I have this year is a quarter-long Art and Craft of Film, just to fill up space.
Yeah, and I'm a sophomore. (Grade 10)

I hated school , to much violence...I was bullied and beaten up on several occasions because I was stronger and bigger than other kids.....
Nah just kidding...But I seriously think the education system needs some major improvements....

there will always be toes stepped on and feelings bent out of shape, that's just the way things happen. the people running do the best they can and as much as people complain, the people calling the shots are calling them for a reason - they know what they're doing (in most cases).
like jason said, take whatever electives you're interested in and take honors/ap courses in whatever field you feel like you might go into once you enter college. the classes i took for senior year were:
villian literature - satisfied my english requirement
goverment (1st term) and economics (2nd term) - satisfied my history requirement
principles of engineering - elective
ap physics with calc - satisfied my lab science requirement
ap calc ab - satisfied my math requirement
oh, and gym - we had to take 4 years of it
i chose which math, science, and elective i wanted to take. i'm majoring in civil engineering in college so i went with the courses that would best help me. also, in junior year of hs, i took architectural drafting as an elective (for those who don't know, architecture and civil engineering are closely related).
bottom line: make the best out of hs; sign up for courses not based on their level of difficulty but on what interests you.

youll learn pretty much the same shit.. HS is just college prepl,, so if u dont need that screw HS
knowing what i do now, i recomend u get out of HS as soon as possible with whatever credit it can give.. GED or whatever.. doesnt matter.. i should have bailed on HS at junior year and went right to my college.
and if u dont give a shit about college.. head right for a career
(there are PLENTY of jobs that dont require a piece of paper that cost you $50k-$120K)
u can learn the crap that 50% of americans do for a living in offices in about 2 weeks of trainging at the place.
if your planning on a life goal of PHD and shit like that.,, well duh your gonna need to follow the systems rules for the credentials
middle school is still sorta basic.. u kinda need that to atleast communicate and live with normal people...
however the education system taught me nothing about:
doing taxs, getting a job, resumes, how to sell a car, insurance and WTF it all means....repairing your car and how not to get screwed by mechanics... the stuff u actually NEED in life... LOL!

I hated highschool lolz. I say make the best of it also, and how well you do in highschool has nothing to do with how you'll do later in life (despite what people tell you). Take classes that your interested in, which is what I should have done.
And the system isn't too great. I graduated highschool in the bottom of the class, skipped all the time, and now im in university with a 4.0gpa figure that one out.
so make the best of it and have fun while you can....

High School was a joke. Classes were too easy, teachers didn't give a rat's ass about anything, and the whole experience was full of BS drama I neither wanted nor needed to be a part of.
To everyone that hates their high school I say this: Life gets better after high school.

heh, ive heard many sides of happiness after highschool.
Either spend all your time on work, less on friends?
or most of your time on friends and less work?
it is possible to do both but itz pretty hard.
u either have a blast in high school but makes life harder later on.
or have a great education with a better future but lack the happiness with it?
Itz not supposely that subjects u learn in school itz the facts of life that u learn in school.
Learn to love, learn to voice your opinion, learn to be... yourself.

I wake up when I don't want to, to go somewhere that I don't want to go, to do something I don't like doing.
I'm an alchoholic, chain-smoking d2 addict.
I still live with mom.
This is better than highschool?
Oh sh!t.... ITS THE EXACT SAME THING.
Except for the girls. Theres less girls.
