I'm not sure where to post this, since it has to do with lld but is not strictly dueling, and it isn't a "PC DIS ZOMG LOLZ JOOL FOR ME KTHX" thread, so I didn't think it would be appropriate for the trade forum. With that being said, here is the thrust of my post:

I am having quite a bit of difficulty pcing vlld items. Not the standard 9maxers and such, not pcrowns and common things, but rare rings, jewels, and ammys. For instance, I found a ring with 80 ar, 5 rep, and 3 mana. To my hld-biased eye, it looked only slightly better than a nagel ring. A few hours later, I saw a very similar ring with less ar than mine get pc'ed for no less than 10hr. I had been offered a 15/13 SoE for my ring by Kody, and nearly let it go for that. I don't think he was trying to lowball me or otherwise be shady, I honestly think neither of us had a clue just what this was worth. Confused

Anyways, I could use some help identifying how much a given ring/ammy/jewel is worth or what it could reasonably be traded for.

For instance:

A rare level 9 ring with ar above 70 and two good secondary mods (+2 str, +rep life): 10 hrs reasonable exchange

A rare jewel, level 9, with 9max, -15% reqs, 20 psn: 10 hrs reasonable exchange

Rare amulet, level 9, ar/str/dex/life: whatever hr value

et cetera, et cetera

If any of you veterans of lld trading could do me the great service of showing me some guidelines to pcing these sort of items, please post them here.

Ah, okay. East Softcore Ladder for me. I assume by your sig you play east but your main is west?

Ah, okay. Well, I know that lld isn't as populated on west ladder as it is on east. Still, it could be helpful to have some guidelines from west as well. Feel free to post what knowledge you could spare me, I can use all the advice I can get here.

Ok well pc for these types of things is pretty hard because of all the posiblities here's just some stuff to look for I guess.

main desired mods on rings:
- attack rating (max of 95)
- str/dex (max of 2 str/dex)
- rep life (max of 5 rep)

other useful ones:
- +life (max of 5)
- +1 max dmg
- 1/2 freeze dur.
- other things like 10%fcr rings with mods are good for vlld casters
- +mana

main desired mods on amulets:
- str/dex (max of 5 str/dex)
- rep life (max of 5)
- damage to mana (max is 12%)
- attack rating (max of 35)
- 1/2 freeze dur.
- +life (max of 10)

other useful ones:
- +1 max damage
- 5% ctc frost nova
