A few of my friends are doing hardcore vlld and i wanted to try it out. i used to play hardcore until i quit a few years back and now im on softcore until i get myself situated but i want to make a hardcore vlld. does anyone have build suggestions for a viable hardcore lld? one that doesnt cost a fortune to be succesfull.

i heard there starting somthing about lvl 9 hardcore duels,

is it on east or west?

I'd imagine that its on every realm. I dont know how many people do lld on hardcore, but ive seen quite a few.

I dont play hardcore but I think any sort of <lvl 18 using an E-glitched 4socket ancient would be pretty badass. I wouldnt be wearing an eth repair armor on any kind of character I could lose forever... however with a 530 def E glitched armor AND shout/defiance or whatever u can still get like 2.5kdefense at lvl 18 pretty easily and cheaply (or like 1.6? K at lvl 9), and have 4 sockets to boot. Just make sure all your other equipment is pure damage so that you can kill whoever pretty fast. But as far vs most other LLDs, your defense should give you plenty of time to use those potions without fear of death.

i plan on doing xpac hc vlld, i searched around the forums and all i saw was a build for a barb.

depending on whether your making a vlld dueler or a vlld duel/pker, barb has its pro's and con's. imo most of the fun in hc is getting people when they dont expect it. In that case id go with a vlld sac din. This char can be effective in both vlld's and pks.

Well what would be the difference in pk and duel, you mean using tppk?
And what would be the perfered set up of a hc sacadin.

pk would be killing someone mid run or whatnot. basically not in a duel.

other 2 are up to you. this is, of course, assuming you have had a grush. if not, then you'll only have 12 skills to place, and i'm not sure how much might/sac you should have in that case.
