Right now I'm in Warband on Stormreaver Horde side. We have been farming MC for 9 months, BWL to Chromaggus for 5 months, Nefarian for 4 months, and we have finished AQ40 up to C'thun, and got him to 12% on our best attempt. I'm currently on an Orc rogue with 8/8 nightslayer, 7/8 bloodfang, Seal & Band of Jin, Drakefang Talisman, Renataki's charm of trickery, Eye of Hakkar, Cloak of the Firemaw, Heartstriker bow, and using Ancient Quiraji Ripper mainhand and Chromatically Tempered sword offhand. Sadly, Chromatically Tempered Sword isn't really an offhand wep, but I got it before AQ ripper and didn't want to waste a good wep that I spekd 145 dkp on, which is about 1.5 months worth of raiding. The joys of 1048 attack power unbuffed, and 700+ Hemorrhage crits . How far along is everyone elses guild and character?

im surprised noone else is responding. im very much interested to know how much other people/guilds put into the game and enjoy/hate it

the pirates of shattered hand are sailing at leisure, currently on break from 40man raids. guild consensous states i refrain from openly discussing progress .... however i can say Naugtycow (female restoration druid) is up to 3 pieces of tier2, 175fr buffed when needed.

the game is still crap loads of fun, yet there is always the hint of obligation that can make it sour a'times.
i play approx 10-20 hours a week.
3-6 hours raids mon/wed,
3-6 hours of pvp sunday

My guild's raid schedual is as follows:
Tuesday - MC* luci-rag
Wednseday - BWL razor-nef
Thursday - ZG & AQ20 (usually 3-4 raids running at once)
Friday - Onyxia, AQ40 as far as we can get (usually to C'thun)
Saturday - Organized AV
Sunday - Organized AB and WSG
Monday - Free day

* MC isn't for gear anymore, we all have full tier 1, it's only for multiple nexus crystals for enchants and selling. Every time someone gets a new piece of tier 2, the guild bank enchants it with the best enchant possible asside from some ZG enchants. Also, if a guildy makes an alt and runs it to 60, the guild bank will buy an epic mount for it. We try to keep at least 25k gold at all times.

Usually raiding 4 hours a day...It's very hard to get into my guild if you can't make at least 3-4 days a week of 4 hours of raiding, but that's the only way we can progress to kill C'thun and Nax bosses when it comes out. It does get old sometimes, but everytime I get a 1150 hemo crit on a cloth wearer it makes it all worthwhile

Are all or most guilds running on this type of schedual?

well i used to be in guild Ritual and we raided mc whenever our leader felt like it, and sometimes we went and 5manned scholomance in like 20 different groups for fun, like whoever could kill baron first and come back won like 40g for each person in the group, i never won : (

but i switched guilds so i dont play on a pve server nemorezz

I played for a while, got my little Charsi all the way up to level 40..

Main discouragement was the Guild I had been playing with decided to switch servers (and play on the Horde side). Between that, being told Rogues suck and my attachment to my guy I just froze my account.

We down rag every night, at least the A team does. We've downed Nef thrice, twice when i was there. We've gotten Sulfuras, trying to get Thunderfury. Uhh, yeah, we run AQ every saturday. Have downed vael, no farther. Can't wait for naxx!

I've always wondered.

If a "Guild" had say, 7 ALTERNATE guilds, each with the guild leader's alts as GM's.. and everyone did MC in Guild 1 on monday, /gquit and did MC again in Guild 2 on tuesday, gquit, etc etc.. Would that work?
