Welcome to Quest Of Ages! Quest of Ages is a nice new little forum with a huge need for active and decent members. Quest of Ages is more than a forum though, Its also a RPG. Here is how it works.

You have a RPG charater, You level up your RPG charater by fighting the bots ( Computer Generated and they are based on your level which ones to fight, you do have a option) and you also level up your RPG charater by fighting other members of the forums.

You can also equip items on your charaters to make them stronger and have more life/strenght/mana/defence.
How do you buy these items you ask? With Gil, Gil is the currency on Quest of Ages.
How do you get Gil? Well the best way to get gil, is to be active on the forums and post alot and contribute alot to the over all forums. You may also get gil by recruiting new members.

There also some rare items that you can only get by recruiting members. One of them is the rare and powerful helm of mindslavery. You get that with 20 recruits. At 40 recruits you get your very own custom item that can have as many stats as you want!

With each recruit you bring in you also get 60 Gil per person. Another awsome thing about this forum is that it has a neat bank feature, You can stash your gil in the bank and like banks in real life you gain intrest per day.

One of the easy ways to gain gil on the forums is your job. You get jobs depending on your level.
Each day you get gil for doing your job, you collect your salary and so forth, You deposit it inside the bank and you get intrest.

One of the great things about this forum is the nice arcade they have running. Like real life arcades these arcade games cost 1 gil to play. If you get the high score on one of these arcade games you also recive a gil prize of 50 gil.

Coming soon to Quest of Ages is a all new adventure mode. You will be able to do quests for EXP and gil. That will be out in a few weeks, (Give or take a couple).

also, Gil is the currency used in FinalFantasyX. not sure about the other FF games, though.

It was used in most FF although Im pretty sure that it was only used in the Japanese games until they released FF7 in America. Before that, I am pretty sure they used GP Confused

Yes, one guy sold a ton of those...small charms...for meager Gil. Insane.

I signed up. Spazz also signed up in June or something and hasn't done anything with it ^^.

CHSD did you just challenge me to a battle on the quest forum thingy? Because if you did, that's kinda unfair, challenging my level 1 thunder with your level 2 earth having full hp, mp, healing fountain, and 100% rage. >.<

Yeah, to be honest, I don't know what the hell I'm doing over there. I'm getting my ass owned by a newbie punching bag. I'm level 2 now, yay!

Well I figured out a COUPLE things...

First of all, 100% Rage = an attack with massive damage when you click "rage". Therefore, I said "Screw this I'm not dueling"

You get gil by killing bots, posting on-topic stuff in their forums (I get 4 gil a post woohoo! Then I gambled and now I'm in debt Crying or Very sad

), or ask someone to donate some. Some guy offered to give me some gil Embarassed

Only things I don't understand are what MP is for, I really don't see what I do with it, and what's that special move I invented for? It does absolutely nothing!

Guess I better get back to posting stuff on their forums Wink

Oh and if I'm lucky I could get a godly avatar/signature over there, they have lots of graphic artists that makes sigs for gil...DAMN GIL ROCKS!!! Rolling Eyes

Oh they trade forum gold on d2jsp forums for gil too...
