Are these assumptions true?

-This isn't a play on words, these are 2 real human beings and a real river that they must get to the other side of.

-They have no tools besides the boat and oak tree.

-They both do successfully cross the river.

If you read this carefully, you'll be like OMFG im an idiot.

2 soldiers (who do not know how to swim) walk up to a river.
In the river there is only 1 boat which can only transfer one person at a time to the other side.
Next to the river grows an oak tree. They have no weapons of any kind.
How did both men cross the river?

by going to the other side of the world. They never CROSSED the river.
Let me add another detail that would clear THIS up:
They made it in a very short time.

No flights to japan. No round-the-world running and No Forrest Gump.

Let me tell you, i heard some crazy shit answers to this riddle.

i mean I heard one where one man kills the other one and uses his skin as a sail and his teeth to cut down the oak and make a raft and sail accross using the othe guys legs as a oar. his excuse was... well they both crossed it....

so yeah lol..

BTw the answer is a simple one...

DDR: NO the oak tree doesnt reach accross a river. its a RIVER.... make it the mississipi river. Smile

One person takes the boat across, then comes back and gives the boat to the other person.

The other person then crosses.

They have both crossed the river, they just didn't both end up on the other side.
