The Wii Remote also includes a speaker, rumble feature and expansion port, and can be used as a pointer within 5 meters of the screen. The Wii Remote has a power switch, plus pad, A, B, Minus, Home, 1 and 2 buttons. The Nunchuk controller includes an analog control stick and C and Z buttons.

Quote: | May 9, 2006 - Nintendo today unveiled the final piece in the Wii controller puzzle: a built-in speaker placed in the middle of the freehand-style pointer.
The square audio outlet is used to deliver "in-your-hand" aural immersion. Since the right-hand Wii-mote is used for direct interaction with objects in the games, Nintendo included the controller speaker to give players direct audio feedback pertaining to do those objects.
For example, when you are casting your lure while fishing in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, you can hear the whirring of the line as you flick the controller forward. Likewise, when you nock your arrow and pull back the bow string in the game, you can actually hear the creaking and more accurately feel the tension on the string.
The quality of the audio output is expectedly limited -- imagine the sound quality from a Nintendo DS speaker.
Additionally, the more finalized version of the controller we were able to try out is significantly improved over the development kit units. Whereas the dev kit controllers were wired and felt a bit flimsy, this new version feels heavier, works wirelessly and displays the same glossy-white "Mac look" as seen in product stills released by Nintendo. The nunchuck remains wired to the freehand pointer, however, as previously shown.
The "clicky" buttons from the dev unit have also been fixed and feel more natural and finished this time around. As unveiled last week, the left-hand nunchuck controller features tilt functionality while the right-hand pointer interacts with a special sensor bar to allow movement ntrol interaction in 3D space. At press time it was unclear whether the Wii-mote would also feature a built-in microphone to enable two-way communication in online games -- but the use of the controller speaker for voice playback is a given.
We'll have more impressions of the Wii controllers after we've tested it with a few different games. |

"After school I'm going torun home and play with my Wii." Hm, i think revolution was a much, much, much better name. However, Wii is stil better than PS3, or xbox360, or the like. It's gonna be the beast of this series of consoles.
