they sell p4 in kuwait?

Sure. We get pretty much the same stuff you guys do. Remember: I'm closer to China and India - land of the knock-offs. I've seen up to 3.8Ghz P4's out here.

It's not like Kuwait is a desert wasteland, you know. These guys have a lot of money to spend. So do the Americans that come out here to work. My buddy just built a system with a dual-core 3.2 P4, a terrabyte array, 512k graphics card (nVidia 7300, so not great for gaming), four dvd burners and two 17in LCD monitors. And he probably paid less than you would in the U.S.

dual-core p4?
since when?

also...who the fuck would need a terrabyte????

My first guess would be people who have a lot of information to store. If you look at my post for my computer, I have half a terabyte of storage and I'm only about 110GB away from filling it. A useful tool is Direct Connect which is what most college students use. The main contributer on my campus' hub has about 760GB of data ranging from music to movies to TV to programs to whatever you could think of.

Many people use mass storage for whole house media.

A terabyte really isnt all that much if you start archiving DVD's, TV shows and music for distribution over a network.

If you're looking for a bargain laptop (or PC, for that matter), you really can't beat a Dell. They don't always use the absolute best parts (Maxtor HDs, for example) but for the price you pay, you really can't complain. A lot of people will try to sway you from getting a Dell but if you're looking for something cheap with some decent features, it's the best deal for the money.

Someone doing a massive amount of video editing, that's who. My boss and I work in the Media department of our company* over here (he does video, and I do video/photography). When you edit as much in Premiere Pro 2.0 as he does, that drive starts to fill up.

And seriously... do you have a problem with your brain or something?

You're going to get yourself banned right off this website if you don't figure out what EVERYONE else here has already learned.

[*Yes, I left the USO almost three months ago. Nobody tell breakbeatz2. I don't want to break his heart by telling him I've left event coordinating to do photography. He does so like making fun of me for it.]
