First, get a screenshot [press the print screen key when you want to capture the screen]

The pictures you take in game are saved to you diablo 2 folder [usually C:\Program Files\Diablo II]

Then you can open them/view them/whatever. For cropping them Microsoft Paint is fine.

To crop them i use the "select" tool in the top right of the paint tools thingy. [it looks like a dotted-line square]. When you have highlighted what you want to keep press Ctrl+c, open a new paint file and Ctrl+v to paste it there.

Save it as anything you like and go to www.imageshack.us. Go to "browse" on the imageshack homepage and select the image you want to host [your nicely cropped picture] and click the "host it!" button.

Copy the "Direct link to image" address and when you want to put that picture into a post type [img]theimageurlhere[/img] and voila! you have shown the world your beautifully cropped cruel matriarchal bow of eviseration with 2 30-15's in it Cool .

Hope this helped, i didnt spend too long on it Rolling Eyes .

Old post i know but i notice hardly anyone does this and it saves a crapload of time when you want to post pictures other than screenshots because you dont need to mess around with saving/hosting the picture.

Its called bandwidth stealing Cool

Right click on the picture you want to post and select properties.
Highlight the image address, copy it, and use that in the image tags: [img] etc...

I imagine that Tydus asked how to post a screenshot, but his original question was deleted when ubermoose's answer was made into a stickied guide. That's my best guess, at least - I don't know if it actually works like that.
