are revives worth it?

Hey People Superior to myself, is your ole pal nos and im hear starting ladder me and my friend are owning it finding almost everything. they stay up all night and mf but im starting a summoning necro and im wondering is revive worth it?? ig to skel mastery maxing im gunna make summon resist, skeltons, skeletal mages but is revive worth it??

For a Necro Summoner, you need to max Skel Warrior and Skel Mastery as the only necessities. If you want to go for a huge army and be a pure summoner you can max Skel Mages too.

Summon Resist should only require 1 point since it suffers harsh diminishing returns (1% more per point invested) after level 9 or so. Just put 1 point in and let your gear's +skills do the rest.

Revives is the same thing. After +skills you should have around 15 Revives at least with 1 point invested. Anymore than say 20 Revives and its becomes impractical since Revives have a 3 minute timer before they die, you won't have enough time to get more than around 15-20 Revives before the first ones start dying off. Your Skel Warriors will be doing most of the damage anyway, Revives are just there as additional tanks. Only a few monsters are actually dangerous Revives like Frenzytaurs (Blood Lords, etc), Venom Lords, Gloams, Blunderbores, etc.

That said, 1 point into Revives is grand. Definetly get that 1 point into it. With your leftover points, I'd strongly suggest more points into Corpse Explosion. Amp a crowd and after your minions get you 2-3 corpses blow them up and watch as everything on the screen dies. CE will help with Physical Immunes too if you can get them near some corpses since its half fire and half physical damage.
