when i prebuff with a +2 combat skills shield, then switch to a rhyme barbed, my damage is quite noticable lower, then if i swtich to my +1 all deflecting barbed. And if you don't use rattle cage, definetly use golin toe boots, because cb is very useful on a smiter... very very! mine has 100% of it, but he is lvl 35

Okay. I guess I could look into making it above 29... but I wouldn't want to make it any higher than 35. Right now I'm just looking for the gear. Unless I find something amazing that has a little higher level req than 29 I might go the distance Wink

well mine at lvl 35 uses black runeword flail, rattlecage armor, duillaume face helm, monks barbed of deflect, 2 sojs, +1pally, 47 life, 11 res all, 12%dmg to mana, 3MDR ammy, death glove/belt, and waterwalk boots, if that helps you at all, armor has 15ias/18%ed jewel helm has -15%req/18%ed jewel shield has 2 pdiamonds cause without them i dont have max res and i just use full 15 life sc for charms

Damn. That sounds like a ton of CB, lol. How does it do in duels?

it beats mostly every melee and even some casters, in stash i have an up'd bonesnap that has over 300 dmg on it, so i can use that on casters if they are weak, if not i can just charge up to them and get some smites in if they have bad fhr they can die from that if not i have to wait for them to go near a wall or something then charge in and smite them against the wall.

Sounds interesting. What is your raw smite damage? I guess most of the damage is coming from the CB...

I have one SC character, any chance I could see this char?

umm well smite gets bonus damage from ed% in armor, shield, or helm, but it doesnt show it on char screen, so my smite damage is actually more than what it says on char screen. But if I remember what it sasy on screen its about 450-650? and then add in the 18%ed on helm and 18%ed on armor, i dont know if they would be added before or after holy shield or anything, you'd have to ask jerkazoid, but it's above 450-650, probably max is somewhere around 680 or something? i don't know

Do you know how OW does? I was looking at Malice runeword, it gives 100% Chance, could be cool.

oh ya sorry, you can see my char if you want, it is ladder east and it is on account *methmike if you catch me on

open wounds, it is pretty good, it's based on char lvl, so it will be better if you're higher lvl, but crushing blow is better than open wound for a smiter
