Yup, when they click the green check you make sure that they put the thing in the screen you want before you hit the green check on your side.

Fairly simple and easy to learn technique.

But nope, we don't have a white list.

And....if you mean trustable like if the things are duped not.....look at the market, finding a Zod is like winning a small lottery, look how many winners there are.

the majority of the people on this forum are trustable. i suppose that's because this is easily the most successful lld forum, and we have a tough stand on scamming, so if your banned, there arent many alternative sites. keeps people honest Wink

of course, there are people who are always honest anyway, but there definitely are some people here who wouldnt be if they didnt have to be.

if your referring to trusting people when they say their items are permed, like runes/sojs, then there is no way to tell. u just have to take a leap of faith, or u have to perm a lot. either that, or u can put a clause in your trade thread saying that they must reimburse u if your item poofs. but if u want to do that, then u need to provide real proof that your item actually poofed.

our stance on "trustable people" is that no one is trustable. we will not be responsible for replacing items you lend to someone, simply because they are a member of this site. you take your chances when you let anyone do anything with your own items.

however, if you provide proof that you were scammed, such as screen shots proving without a doubt they scammed you, the person will be banned immediately.

that simple fact tends to keep people in line. but again, as with any site, trading, when it comes down to it, is done at your own risk.

open a trade window with someone and x out and exit the game as soon as possible

if you cant do that you can use a npc with much much much more risk of items poofing but it is better than just leaving the game, just talk to an npc and x out then exit the game as quickly as possible

I heard that when you sell a rune to a vendor and then buy it back, it's permed. Anyone know anything about this?

To perm:

-Go to the trade screen with another player
-Place down all need-to-be-permed items down on the trade screen where they can see them
-As fast as you can exit out of the window and leave the game
-Voila it's all permed

this is an unproven rumor. if you want to risk one of your runes to do it (perhaps, on open) then go ahead and try, and let us know the results.
