I want to make a strictly BM (bad mannered) lvl 29 zealot for pubby's. Using massive sol's etc. Even thought of using cathan rings (2 dr). So, how fun would it be to make a DR zealot that takes almost no damage and hear the noobs cry??!!!

Tired of finding godly legit stuff....time to make one that is pure evil! Twisted Evil

Thinking:

Angelics just so I can hit back and hurt ppl. Alternate: Rare DR ammy w/2cathan rings
Helm: Duskdeep (sol'd), Radiance, or Lore all have DR
Armor: Rockfleece (sol'd)
Belt: String
boots: Goblin toes
Shield: 4s pally shield w/4 sol's
gloves: Dunno. Possibly not good rares/crafted that ahve DR mod on them.

Weapon: No DR that I know of xcpt some not good rares...but probably use honor just to do some damage for now.

Your most EVIL ideas are most welcome....

Why not a 4 sol armor or 3 sol helm?

I agree, I think 4 sol armor and 3 sol helm is better.

Didn't think of the helm...Errr. My bad. Good idea.

Rockfleece is 10% DR + DR 5 i think and with sol would be DR 12. Dunno if that is better than 28 DR.

I have to go try to figure out pvp penalty calcs, etc to see what would maximize this EVIL build.

Also gotta figure out what char to use for emerald crafting... Rolling Eyes

...my brain is tired just thinking about it.

Off to research...thx for feedback.

Quickie calcs:
25% DR (string/rockfleece)
21 DR (helm)
28 DR (shield)
12 DR (armor)

so: 25% DR + 61 DR without any weapon DR, or ammy, or rings!!! This is gonna be fun!

why not be a ghandi sorc and just let them kill themselves. same gear, just more standing.

Kill themselves??? Iron Maiden charge items??? I don't know what a Ghandi sorc is. I also thought it would be fun to be a barb using whatever cry weakens their attack in combo with conc or something. I have a +3 bo helm lvl 30 that would be nice with 3 sols in it.

Ghandi sorc sounds interesting though....explain plz.

A Ghandi sorceress would logically be a passive-agressive sorceress that overcomes her opponents through the use of Shiver Armor. When you synergize it and invest a lot of your points in it, Shiver Armor can become a very potent ability. From my experience, the cold and damage from Shiver Armor always comes into effect no matter if the opponent actually damages you or not, i.e, a zealer doesn't get past your defense or blocking and still takes damage for each zeal because he's always hitting your Shiver Armor. Secondly, Shiver Armor gives very respectable defense bonuses. With a combination of high defense, high life, damage reduction and 75% blocking you would be able to recieve a lot of hits and dish out a lot of return damage without moving a muscle. Not only is it bad mannered, it's lazy too Wink

Another option skill wise is to max prayer (then just use meditation), i think also some of those crafted item with dr have replenish, so even if they damage you it will replenish.

and for the really weak

have a medi staff + prayer active and you got double rep life Razz

so say you gain 20 with prayer alone.. with medi stacked you got 40 :p

Well, I don't plan on standing there too long. Just long enough to laugh at their attempts to hit me with no damage. I would like to cast (or swing) something at them and speed up the process of killing them! Sorc sounds interesting. Mana shield, max block, max dr, max shiver armor and maybe glacial spike or other cold skill.

I've met replenish life pally's...they are an interesting opponent. However, I'm more going for damage reduction that mathematically reduces their attempts of damage to practically ZERO! Then I don't need replenish life! With mana shield...whatever damage happened to get through would be taken out of mana...woot! I'm likin it! Sounds EVIL Muahahahaha Twisted Evil

Anyone here built an evil ghandi sorc? I'll start making tonight...heh.

Used skill planner and the dmg with godly prebuff gear is 241-276 for lvl 31 shiver armor.

You are going to use a string of ears...you could also think about using the mdr bug to your advantage.
