Fucksake, a 64% Aerin sold for 5 FG on JSP.

62% ED, 4 Sox cracked Crown shield + Chipped emerald and El rune -> 8 Res crown shield.

Brilliant. Gah, fuck's SAKE, my Paladin will never have a sodding shield.

Because I found a 62% ED Paladin shield, just the fucker was cracked.
If I socket it, then repair it, will it work?

Can I repair a cracked item back to normal?

What happens to a cracked item if I Socket it?

Edit: If I add 4 sox, can I then repair it? As if it is ilvl1, it won't get 4 (Crown Shield).

I've found a cracked Heraldic shield with 55% Ed.
I bet I can't repair it, right?
