life seems a bit low..personally i prefer more life over more dmg, but i guess its up to everyone how they want to build their char 
also, i wouldnt go overboard on the frw unless you make a bvc,... |

Personally I loved my lvl30 blizzer, which was my first lvl30 char  I didn't have the godliest gear, but I did pretty well and it was alot of fun too

You might want to consider either an upg swordback hold or a rare +2pc/defl/2soc barbed shield, or whatever you can find. Barbed shields has way higher smite damage than any shield at lvl30.

Hm..life does seem a bit low, just like you said..my conc barb has 1k life without bo and 1,9k with (2,3k if i prebuff with everything possible).
