If you use imageshack.us, you'll want to use the link at the bottom (it says "direct link to image"). All the other links are for forums, and are thumbnails or other variations that have forum coding in them which you do not want.
Your avatar pic's link should start with "http". If it has [img], or [url] or anything like that you'll get an error.
If you still can't get it to work, send me a link to the image you want to use, and I'll do it for you.

For Step 2, how do you get the picture onto www.ImageShack.com?

Click profile and to the left it should be there.
Make sure you fit the right dimmensions!

Hi ppl of lld101 ive noticed all your alls picture and avatar pictures 4 your user name and well ive tryed to get one i just dont know where to go to do it and even if i get it made where do i put it in on my avatar control Panel.
