Even ball 3 isn't permanent. You get ball 3, then you get walking, then if you're good, even that goes away in time.

QFT. There are some people here who need a lot of help.
Plus, despite what some people think, we really don't want to ban anyone. We want to give people as much opportunity as possible to "get it right". That's why the Ball 1 tag goes away, and even the Ball 2 tag isn't permanent (goes back to 1 after a week). Only Ball 3 nets you a permanent tag.
We understand that everyone will screw up. Sometimes you just can't avoid the temptation to flame someone, or you try to trade something that maybe was a bit questionable. Frankly, our goal is to be flexible with the occasional screw-up (hence the expiring tags), while really coming down hard on repeat offenders.

I dont think its that hard to follow the rules, and it surely doesnt take 4 times for someone to learn (I'd hope?)

We do, however, have Andy's (OSA) services, if worse comes to worse.

Yeah, this exact same question was asked when Knarl revealed it to us. At the time, it was basically a placeholder word that he was using to describe a four level punishment system. However, the "Balls" angle worked and was funny, so it stuck.

Is "Ball 1/2/3/4" the new warning system.
Shouldn't it be strikes instead of balls? Is it 3 balls and you're out, or 4 balls and you're out? (cause it takes 4 balls to get a walk)
