"]really, alt and print screen? i've always used plain old print screen and it worked fine. i guess it depends on the computer.
Well I am from the DOS age so this is what we did. I took this from a website. When Windows came along, pressing [Print Scrn] would copy the screen to the clipboard. Pressing [Alt]+[Print Scrn] would copy just the current window, which was particularly useful. If you happened to be running a DOS program as full screen, pressing [Print Scrn] would copy that to the clipboard as well.
yea, 'print screen' is for an actually "screen shot". 'alt'+'print screen' is for a "window shot".
if you are in diablo, and you press 'print screen', a screen shot will be automatically saved in your diablo2 folder as "screenshotxxx". you wont need to paste it anywhere.

It is Alt Plus Print Screen. That works for any program that you want to copy the current screen in order to copy and paste it some where esle.
