I have been working on it and actually I found out the hard way that none of the old themes for 2.1.4 are compatible with 2.1.6.
The best place to find new themes is here:
http://www.craterz.com/downloads.php
The problem it is it is sort of a Catch-22 situation. You must install the themes first, and then install the mods on top of them, or else all of your mods will not work with the newest themes you add. This is the reason why I went and installed about 30 themes before attempting any of the mods out there.
For this reason I plan to wait just a bit longer before going crazy with mod installation, not the least reason is because most mods now do not work with 2.1.6 either.
PS. So that some people would not be left with an unworkable board, I forced everyone to use the default mod for the last few hours. Now that I've removed all of the on non-working mods, you're welcome to choose between the four themes I've installed so far.

The layouts will be enabled in time. Here's a little quote for you, dug from the bowels of the forum:

Lots of new improvements in this version of categories. The upgrade went relatively problem free, but as you can see I need to put all the mods back in again. Clear your cache and cookies if you are unable to log in to the board.
